Get Well Stephan!

ACTIVITY
We mad a giant "get well" poster for our beloved Trapeze Arts instructor, who had surgery recently. His well-trained protege has been filling in. Fortunately, during his recovery, he'll still be visiting to oversee our gymnastics classes to enjoy our participation. We wish him the best for a speedy recovery.

When asked what they liked most about Trapeze Arts, the class responded most favorably to the "Big Orange Circus Bike!" They each drew their own self-portraits on a variety of cutouts and pasted them on as they look when he rides with SEVEN children on board!

BONGO'S BIG DAY OUT!
Our pet snake, Bongo needed her cage cleaned. This provided the perfect opportunity for her to visit the students in their environment. They were excited to pet her and see how she slithers, climbs, balances and even catches herself when she falls. They were especially impressed with her negotiation of their jungle gym! As a safety requirement, we use Purell preceding and following any direct contact with her. We also apply a bleach solution to any surface she touches. For those of you curious about this beautiful orange and pink breed, Bongo is an Albino Okatee Corn Snake. She has grown nearly 7 inches in the two years we've had her!
